安徽淮河流域重新出现越冬大鸨

Reappearance of a Wintering Great Bustard in Huaihe River Valley Anhui Section

2020年3月1日在安徽蚌埠怀远县发现一只越冬大鸨,3月1日至3月4日通过实地观测和走访村民的方法对其分布地点进行了调查。结果表明,大鸨在本地越冬时间约一个月,栖息地位于河流附近开阔的滩地、小麦地、休耕地等,常在小麦地觅食。调查期间拍摄到大鸨活动照片,并多次拾到该鸟脱落的羽毛。新冠病毒肺炎防控限行大幅度减少人为活动可能是大鸨在传统栖息地重新出现的重要原因。

On March 1,2020,one wintering great bustard(Otis tarda)was found in Huaiyuan County,Bengbu City,Anhui Province,and a survey was carried out on its activity areas through field observation and visits to local village residents from March 1 to March 4.The results showed that the wintering great bustard stayed for about one month,its habitat included such areas as open floodplain near rivers,wheatland and fallow land and it often foraged in wheatland.During the survey,the great bustard was photographed and some of its fallen feathers were collected many times.A main cause for the reappearance of the species in its traditional habitat was a significant decrease in human activities for the prevention and control of novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in the meantime.
