The internet that was placed on“connecting everything”has a big difference in the specific period of development in China. This difference is deeply imprinted on the many virtual communities that have emerged from the internet. The fan community as a subculture representative is no exception.Through the participatory observation of the fan community of WallaceChung and selecting some in-depth interviews with some fans, the paper found that from the Tianya community,Baidu Tieba to the current Weibo,in the media form of change, the fan community has experienced“elite”moves toward“mass”,from“depth”to“fragmentation”,from“centralization”to“open and dispersion”,from“individual”to“tight organization”and to“relatively loose”evolution. In the dynamic evolution, the changes of the mobile fan community in different media forms are not completely mutually exclusive, but there are evolutionary relationships such as resurrection and reversal. At the same time, the interaction between the fan community and different media forms is not a simple resistance/cooperation,but a“space of negotiation”.
