Breeding and Key Cultivation Techniques of A New Watermelon Variety Jinrui-5

西瓜新品种金瑞5号是以自交系W1-05为母本,W1-1作为父本组配的鲜食杂交种。从开花到果实发育成熟32~38d左右,全生育期约110d。主蔓第5~7节位着生第一雌花,果实椭圆形,果皮底色绿色,表皮有深绿色覆墨绿条纹,硬度适中,果肉红色,肉质细脆多汁。中心可溶性固形物10.9%,边部可溶性固形物7.2%。适宜于甘肃、新疆、内蒙古、陕西、宁夏、黑龙江、辽宁等同一生态类型地区春播种植。2018年5月通过国家农业部非主要农作物品种登记。

A new watermelon variety jinrui 5 is an inbred w1-05 hybrid with its mother and w1-1 as its father,and its whole growth period is about 110 d from flowering to fruit maturation.Main tendril 5-7 bearing the first female flower,fruit elliptic,green base color,skin with dark green and black green stripes,moderate hardness,red flesh,meat crisp and juicy.Central soluble solids 10.9%,edge soluble solids 7.2%.It is suitable for spring sowing in Gansu,Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,Shanxi,Ningxia,Heilongjiang,Liaoning and other areas of the same ecological type.In May 2018,it passed the registration of non-major crop varieties by the ministry of agriculture.
