In order to enhance students’ understanding of soil aesthetics,provide relevant teaching materials and teaching aids,and give full play to the aesthetic education function of soil resources,this paper introduces in detail the production methods,steps and precautions of art clay ball teaching aids.It analyzes the aesthetic value of the art clay ball in terms of aesthetic components,including simple curvilinear beauty,three-dimensional image beauty and diverse beauty of natural colors.In pre-school, elementary,higher and adult education,the art clay ball can not only be used as a demonstration of teaching aids,but also help to understand the principles of soil science,develop imagination,creativity and concentration, hands-on ability,improve artistic literacy and alleviate mental stress.It is a means of developing quality education.Finally,the research and development of art clay balls and its application prospect in education and teaching are prospected.
