The article starts with the connotation of graduate student’s innovation ability,,analyzes the factors in cultivating doctoral students’ innovation ability in local agricultural universities against the "Double First-Class"background,and explores the methods of improving doctoral students’ innovation ability in local agricultural universities by reforming the admission system,forming high-level tutor teams,optimizing training programs,attaching importance to campus culture construction,optimizing subject layout,etc.
