Cyberchondria: An “Emerging Risk” of Information Era

网络疑病症是当今信息时代下新出现的一种异常行为模式,它以反复过度在线搜索而引起健康焦虑升级为特征,近年来被认为是一种伴随信息时代的"新兴风险",严重危害着人们的身心健康,对公共卫生造成巨大的威胁。本文从网络疑病症的起源发展与概念界定入手,探讨了网络疑病症的评估测量工具、研究现状等,以期进一步探明网络疑病症的发生发展机制,对未来的研究提出建议与展望。

Cyberchondria is a new abnormal pattern in the information age, characterized by excessive or repeated online searches for health-related information and escalating health anxiety. As an"emerging risk"accompanied by the information era, cyberchondria endangers people’s physical and mental health and poses a huge threat to public health. This paper introduces the origin and concept of cyberchondria, discusses its measurement tools, current research status, so as to further explore the occurrence and development mechanism of cyberchondria and put forward some suggestions for its future research direction.
