“葫芦”意象的文化寓意分析

An Analysis of the Cultural Implication of the “Gourd” Image

葫芦在我国传统文化中占有重要地位。从周代开始,婚礼仪式中用剖开的葫芦饮"合卺酒";我国少数民族神话中也有许多关于葫芦的故事;在道家经典中也有关于"壶天"的传说;到了现代,葫芦在日常生活中也多有出现。用原型批评的方法,主要从婚礼仪式中的葫芦、神话中的葫芦、葫芦意象在后世的延伸和丰富等角度来解读葫芦意象,探究葫芦的原型,分析其文化寓意,可以得出结论,葫芦意象在中国文化中的出现受到天地神婚神话原型、祖先崇拜观念、创世神话原型的深远影响,具有多重的象征意义。

The gourd occupies an important position in China’s traditional culture.From the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty,the wedding ceremony used cut-out gourd to drink "cross-cupped wine";there are also many stories about gourd in the mythology of ethnic minorities in China;legends about "fairyland"in Taoist classics;by the modern day,gourds also appeared in daily life.Using the method of archetypal criticism,mainly from the gourd of the wedding ceremony,the myth of the gourd, the extension and enrichment of the gourd image in later generations,the paper interpreted the gourd image,explored its prototype and analyzed its cultural implication.It can be concluded that the emergence of the gourd image in the Chinese culture is deeply influenced by the archetype of heaven and earth god marriage,the concept of ancestor worship,and the creation of the myth prototype,which has multiple symbolic significance.
