犬和猫肠易激综合征研究进展

Progress on Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Dogs and Cats

肠易激综合征最初见于医学报道,是一种临床表现为腹泻和便秘反复发作的慢性胃肠道疾病,通常不伴有肠道炎症和病理学变化。然而,在小动物临床上,对于肠易激综合征没有一致的定义。犬肠易激综合征的临床症状与人纤维反应性大肠腹泻综合征的症状相似,表现为慢性特发性大肠腹泻。论文通过结合肠易激综合征的研究进展,对目前关于犬猫肠易激综合征的临床症状、致病机制、诊断和治疗方法进行综述,以期对我国小动物临床疾病的诊治提供参考。

Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)was originally reported in human clinic.It is a type of chronic gastrointestinal disease with recurrent presence of diarrhea and constipation,and usually not accompanied by inflammation and morphological changes in bowels.However,there are no congruent definitions of irritable bowel syndrome in the clinical practice of small animals.The clinical symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome in dogs are similar to those of fibroreactive large intestinal diarrhea syndrome in humans,which are characterized by idiopathic and chronic large intestinal diarrhea.The aim of this review is to summarize current researches of IBS in both human medicine and veterinary medicine,and to analyze the clinical symptoms,pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of IBS in dogs and cats,which can give an inspiration to both clinicians and researchers in China.
