海外中国园林之造园意匠及游园感知探析——以美国为例

An Investigation on the Landscape Design and Perceptions of Overseas Chinese Gardens:The Chinese Gardens in the USA

自20世纪80年代,特别是2000年以来,兴起了新一轮的海外中国园林建设热潮。在经多方协作数年、投入巨资、煞费匠心和克服重重困难之后,这些身处海外的中国园林是否如愿成为"中国文化国际交流的桥梁"?文章选取在美国营造的中国园林为研究对象,结合其营建背景细致诠释其造园意匠,考察跨文化背景下的游园活动,尝试从"他者"视角探究多元游园感知,以期揭示中国园林和建筑文化在域外的适应性,为中国园林等中华传统文化的代表性项目的海外传播提供参考。

From the 1980 s,and particularly the year of 2000,there has been a new construction tide of overseas Chinese gardens.After years of collaborations,investments,ingenuities and difficulties,have these overseas Chinese gardens become international exchange bridges of Chinese culture as expected?This paper looks at the Chinese gardens in the United States of America,elucidates the landscaping ingenuities against the building background,and investigates garden activities in a cross-cultural context,trying to explore the perception of multiple gardens from the perspective of"the other".It intends to reveal the adaptability of Chinese garden and architectural culture in the overseas context,and provide some references for the export of traditional Chinese cultural projects.
