The article takes the high temperature of the stern tube bearing of the H2531 ship in the 21000 m^3 LPG series ship as the research object,and analyzes and verifies the various suspected points that cause the high temperature failure of the stern bearing when the ship is moving at the main engine of the wharf.Finally,the cause and treatment method of the accident were found out through the shafting re-lighting and inquiring the on-site shafting alignment construction process.
