印度英语变体的语音语调特征研究

A Study on Phonetic and Intonation Features of Indian English

选取比较具有代表性的印度英语作为研究对象,把印度英语的语音语调与标准英语进行比较,总结出印度英语变体的音段特征和超音段特征,以期帮助我国英语学习者熟悉南亚多国的英语口音,增强与印度及邻近国家英语的听辨与口头交流能力。

In the process of English globalization,many regional variations have been formed.Since the One Belt And One Road initiative was put forward,China′s cooperation and exchanges with countries along the belt and road have been increasing.This article chooses Indian English as the research object,because Indian English is typical among several South Asian countries.Compared with standard English,this paper summed up segmental characteristics and suprasegmental characteristics of Indian English,so as to help English learners in China get familiar with the accent of English of south Asian nations,enhanced the listening and communication skills of Indian English.
