关于建立中国近北极民族研究框架的思考

Thoughts on Establishing Research Framework of Chinese Near-Arctic Peoples

与俄罗斯、蒙古交界的中国北方少数民族与北极民族在生存环境、生态系统、生计方式、生存策略、艺术与物质文化、仪式信仰等诸多方面都有着强烈的相似性,同时与西伯利亚高纬度地区以及该区域民族有着密不可分的历史关系。从北极的文化地理概念出发,有必要将其称为"中国近北极民族"。中国近北极民族研究应被视为国际北极民族文化研究框架中的重要组成部分,对北极民族研究中世界性热点理论问题的聚焦与关注构成了中国近北极民族研究与世界对话的学理基础。

Ethnic groups in North China’s boarder areas adjoining Russia and Mongolia have dramatic similarities with Arctic indigenous peoples in living environment, ecological system,subsistence, survival strategies, arts, material culture, ritual, and belief systems. They have entangling relationships in history with peoples residing in the high-latitude Siberian region. From the perspective of the cultural geography, it is reasonable to conceptualize these natives in North China as "Chinese near-Arctic peoples." Studies on them should be considered a component in the research framework of the world Arctic indigenous studies. Focus on hot issues in the international theoretical trend is the prerequisite for a constructive dialogue between China and the world.
