The Evolution and Comparison of Western Economic Methodology

经济学方法论是经济学研究领域的一个分支,是对经济学科学方法的研究,包涵对经济原理的理解。经济学方法论是经济学研究的基础,同时也体现经济学研究的内在逻辑。经济学方法论在概念上常会区分广义经济学方法论和狭义经济学方法论:从狭义视角来看,是指论证经济学理论正确的某一种原则或标准;广义上的方法论则是包括经济学理论科学性的内涵,经济学的分析方法、经济学的理论运用和理论创新的方法。哲学和经济学学科在当代的研究方法中仍存在交叉。本文对西方经济学研究方法的演变做了简单介绍,主要内容包括西方主流和非主流经济学方法论的发展,并对两者进行了对比。除此以外,就西方经济学方法论对我国经济学方法论的一些启示作出了简单描述。

As a branch of economic research,the economic methodology is the study of scientific method of economics,with the understanding of economic principles. The economic methodology is the foundation of economics research,and also embodies the internal logic of economics research. The concept of economic methodology is often distinguished as the generalized and narrow economic methodology. In a narrow sense,economic methodology refers to a certain principle or standard to prove the validity of economic theory;in a generalized sense,economic methodology includes the scientific connotation of economic theory,the analytical method of economics,the theoretical application of economics and the method of theoretical innovation. At present,philosophy and economics are still intersecting in the research methodology. The evolution about research methods of western economics is introduced briefly in the paper,including the development of mainstream and non-mainstream economic methodologies,and the comparison between these two methodologies is made. In addition,a brief description about the Enlightenment of western economic methodology on China’s economic methodology is provided.
