Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era clearly states that the overall goal of comprehensive advancing the rule of law is to build a system of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics and build a socialist country under the rule of law.As an important symbol of a legal-based state and core of the rule of law,the constitution plays an irreplaceable role.Since modern times,with the change and development of society,the concept of constitution has been developing gradually.Since the fourth plenary session of the 18th CPC central committee,the rule of law has become an important strategy for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.From the perspective of the historical evolution of the concept of constitution,it is an inevitable requirement of the development of society and history to comprehensively promote the legal construction of society,and the rule of law in accordance with the constitution is an inevitable requirement of the society.
