学生译员与专业译员汉英翻译修订行为对比研究——基于MS Word修订功能和后续访谈的实证分析

摘要 翻译修订是翻译过程中一个十分重要的环节,但是目前国内外对汉英互译修订行为的研究关注较少。使用MS Word修订功能并结合后续访谈,以经济类综合性文本为例,归纳了66名学生译员以及4名专业译员在汉译英过程中的修订行为特点。研究发现:(1)总体而言,学生译员与专业译员均在转换问题上修订比例最高,而在内容问题上未出现修订行为;(2)相对而言,专业译员关注了呈现问题而学生译员则没有涉及此方面,且专业译员对语言问题的关注度高于学生译员。研究结果可以为学生译员的翻译修订能力培养提供借鉴,使其尽早适应翻译市场的要求。 Translation revision plays an important part in the translation process,but current research on it,especially Chinese-English or English-Chinese,has not drawn enough attention both at home and abroad.By means of the track change function of MS Word and follow-up interviews,this article analyzes the translation revision behavior of 66 translation trainees and 4 translation professionals on the basis of a text on economy and its English translation.It is found out that:(1)generally speaking,both translation trainees and translation professionals paid the greatest attention to the transfer problem while no revision behavior occurred in terms of the content problem;(2)comparatively speaking,translation professionals paid attention to the presentation problem while translation trainees paid no attention to this,and besides,more attention was given to the language problem by translation professionals than translation trainees.This research can provide insights into the cultivation of translation revision competence so that translation trainees can better adapt themselves to the market demands.
