摘要
《貌迎貌玛梅玛》被称作缅甸第一部现代小说。小说的作者詹姆斯·拉觉从大仲马小说《基督山伯爵》的主题、故事情节和人物等方面获得创作灵感,结合缅甸的风土人情和文化传统,成功完成了《貌迎貌玛梅玛》的创作,它可被视为《基督山伯爵》的摹本。从伽达默尔哲学诠释学的角度来看,詹姆斯·拉觉的模仿并非简单的复写,而是一种基于理解之上的再认识,是对艺术真理的再现和扩充。作为摹本的《貌迎貌玛梅玛》,在对原型进行模仿的同时,将原型的文学创作传统和本民族的文化传统进行了融合;作者通过与他人和与自己的对话,经历自我扬弃和转化,成功展现了《貌迎貌玛梅玛》作为摹本的再生意义。
Maung Yin Maung Ma Me Ma is claimed to be the first Burmese modern novel.Inspired and driven by the theme,the storyline and characters of Alexandre Dumas’The Count of Monte Cristo,the author,James HlaKyaw,successfully completed the re-creation of the novel with a combination of the local religion,custom and cultural tradition of Burma.Therefore,his novel can be seen as a mimesis of The Count of Monte Cristo.From the perspective of Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics,James HlaKyaw’s mimesis is not a simple imitation,but a recreation based on understanding,with the recognition and expansion of the artistic truth presented in Dumas’novel.As a copy,Maung Yin Maung Ma Me Ma also integrated the literary tradition of the original and the cultural tradition of Burma amid the imitation.Through self-dialogue and the dialogue between the author himself and others,HlaKyaw successfully showed the representation of the original in Maung Yin Maung Ma Me Ma with self-development and transformation.
