Research on the Solutions to Promoting the Development of Consumption Demand in China --A Discussion on the Consumption Potential in Small Cities

近年来,我国一直存在消费需求不足的情况,总体和局部消费需求不足并存,最终消费率和居民消费率呈持续下降态势,消费水平远低于世界发达国家,且小城市消费率更是低于全国平均水平。文章结合国内外相关理论分析,发现我国消费需求不足主要是要素市场扭曲和供给端转型升级不及时造成的,并以宣城为小城市代表,提出了促进消费需求提升的对策建议。

In recent years,China’s consumer demand has been insufficient. The overall and local consumption demand is insufficient. The final consumption rate and household consumption rate have continued to decline. The consumption level is far lower than that of the world’s major countries,while the consumption rate of small cities is even lower. National average. This paper analyzes the reality of China’s insufficient consumer demand by combining relevant domestic and foreign theories,and finds that the lack of consumer demand is mainly caused by the distortion of the factor market and the transformation and upgrading of the supply side. On the basis of this analysis,the solutions to promoting the improvement of consumption rate are put forward in terms of the crux of China’s insufficient consumption and corresponding to the corresponding situation of small cities represented by Xuancheng.
