Background and design in the Inner Mongolia Mental Health Survey

内蒙古精神卫生调查(又称“内蒙古自治区居民心理健康状况调查”)是内蒙古自治区首次具有全区代表性的精神障碍流行病学调查。调查主要目标是获得全区各类精神障碍患病率、卫生服务利用的信息和相关影响因素。调查采用两阶段调查法。充分考虑调查工具的一致性和可比性、调查内容的全面性和创新性,第一阶段调查的主要工具为复合型国际诊断交谈表3.0,可获得心境障碍、焦虑障碍、酒精药物使用障碍、间歇爆发性障碍、进食障碍的疾病诊断;第二阶段主要工具为定式临床访谈诊断表、10/66痴呆诊断工具,可获得精神分裂症及其他精神病性障碍和老年期痴呆的疾病诊断。该调查将为自治区卫生政策制定、医疗资源配置提供参考依据和理论基础。

The Inner Mongolia Mental Health Survey(IMMHS),also called Mental Health Survey among Community Population in Inner Mongolia,is the first provincial representative survey on mental disorders and mental health services in community residents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The main aims of the IMMHS were to investigate the prevalence of mental disorders,to obtain data of service use of individuals with mental disorders,and to analyze the related psycho-social risk factors or correlates.The IMMHS was divided into two stages.Considering the consistency of the measures,comparability with other researches,target diseases and innovation,in Stage one,the diagnoses of mood disorders,anxiety disorders,substance use disorders,impulse-control disorder,and eating disorders were obtained by using the Composite International Diagnostic Interview-3.0.In Stage two,schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders and dementia were diagnosed with the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I disorders and the 10/66 dementia diagnosis package representatively.The information yielded from the IMMHS would be of great value for policy making of mental health and further studies.
