论薛舒的“刘湾镇”叙事与“江南文化”的建构

On Xue Shu’s Narrative of“Liuwan Town”and Construction of Jiangnan Culture

薛舒的“刘湾镇”小说系列展示了上海郊区小镇的风土人情,她既从现代性的角度审视了其中的封闭和凝滞,也发掘出了刘湾镇的自在、古朴、反抗以及挣扎向上的力量。薛舒借上海这一“他者”的设定,彰显了“刘湾镇”的“仁”和“义”,以此表达带有“江湖”色彩的叙述立场。这也在很大程度上丰富了“江南文化”,建构了“江南文化”“诗性”底色之上的、现代“城市化”之外的又一种审美价值。

Xue Shu’s novel series of“Liuwan Town”depicts the local customs in Shanghai suburbs.She not only examines the blockage and stagnation in it from the perspective of modernity,but also excavates the unconstraint,plainness,resistance and the power to struggle upward of Liuwan Town.In the novels,Shanghai is described as otherness to manifest Liuwan Town’s“benevolence”and“righteousness”,and thus express the narrative position with the color of“Jianghu”in traditional Chinese culture,which enriches“Jiangnan culture”to a large extent.Another kind of aesthetic value beyond the poetic wisdom and modern feature of Jiangnan culture is constructed.
