The ancient Chinese core values were infiltrated by the excellent Chinese traditional water culture,which has a long and profound history.It shows the distinctive characteristics of comparing virtue with water:For the pursuit of value at the national level,the ancient sages took water as the mainstay,and constructed the concept of economic abundance as well as the political ecology concept;For the values at the social level,the ancient sages used water as a guide to build moral and legal governance of society;For the values of the individual level,the ancient sages used water as a teacher and formed the values of striving like water,remaining modest like water,remaining incorrupt like water,and remaining tolerant like water.
