摘要
随着WiFi智能终端的普及,许多场所都广泛部署WLAN以满足用户随时随地接入网络的需求。但部分终端在移动过程中存在找不到合适的AP漫游而一直连接原AP的问题,这对终端传输速率和网络整体性能都带来了负面影响。为此设计了一种基于网络信息感知的漫游方案,该方案通过周期性检测关联终端的接收信号强度识别出此类终端,综合AP感知到的终端状态信息和网络状态信息,通过权重模型为终端选择出最佳目标AP并引导终端进行漫游。Mininet-WiFi仿真验证表明,该方案不仅能有效地提高终端的漫游切换效率和传输速率,还能提升整体系统吞吐量。
With the popularity of WiFi smart terminals,WLANs are widely deployed in many places to meet the needs of users accessing the network anytime and anywhere.However,some terminals have the problem finding a suitable AP to roam and remaining connected to the original AP during the mobile process,which has a negative impact on the terminal transmission rate and the overall performance of the network.For this reason,a network information aware roaming scheme is designed.This scheme identifies such terminals by periodically detecting the received signal strength of the associated terminals,synthesizes the terminal status information and network status information perceived by the AP,and uses the weight model to select the best target AP for the terminal and guides the terminal to roam.Mininet WiFi simulation verification shows that this scheme can not only effectively improve the roaming switching efficiency and transmission rate of the terminal,but also improve the overall system throughput.
