摘要
蒂姆·温顿凭借作品兼具“文学性”和“澳大利亚性”,四度荣获澳大利亚最高文学奖——迈尔斯·富兰克林奖。从作者的角度看,温顿并非传统意义拘泥地方书写的现实主义作家,而是表现出多元文化主义背景下澳大利亚人身份的重构与流散,流露出其后结构主义的创作理念。本文结合温顿的个人生平与作品,从性别、阶级和民族三个角度分析他的身份观,有助于理解其创作主题以及作品中的文化寓意,从中也可管窥迈奖在新时代语境下的话语张力。
Tim Winton has won Miles Franklin Award four times by virtue of the literariness and Australianness in his works.From the perspective of author,Winton is by no means a realist writer in the traditional sense,instead,endeavors to explore the reconfiguration and diaspora of Australian identity in the context of multiculturalism,which displays his postmodernism view of identity.Based on Wintion's life history and his works,this paper attempts to analyze Winton's view of identity in terms of gender,class and ethnicity,which is conducive to understanding the motifs and cultural connotation of his works,as well as the subtle change of the criteria of Miles Franklin Award in the new era.
