英语专业大二综合英语考试改革的调查分析——以广东培正学院为例

Investigation and Analysis on the Examination Reform of the Comprehensive English Courses During the Sophomore Year for English Majors——Based on the Case of Guangdong Peizheng College

综合英语课程是语言类学生的基础课程,而大二的课程考试对英语专业四级考试的通过率有着极其重要的影响。基于2016年英语专业四级考试题局部题型的调整,广东培正学院综合英语课程的考试题型也进行了相应的改革。通过实践发现,考试题型改革能有效地促进综合英语课程教学的创新,并能够调动学生学习英语语言的积极性,达到提高语言应用能力的目的。

The Comprehensive English Course Series are the basic courses for students majoring in language,and the respective courses in the sophomore year play a vital role in students passing the TEM 4 test.Based on the partial adjustments of the question types in TEM 4 test since 2016,Guangdong Peizheng College has also made corresponding reforms in its own tests regarding the Comprehensive English Courses.It is later uncovered that the reform of question types in those tests can effectively promote innovation in the teaching of the Comprehensive English Courses,while allowing students to take the initiatives to study the English language at the same time.As a result,the reform has reached the goal of enhancing the students’English competence in practical use.
