摘要
本研究通过对比我国不同区域部分高校大一至大三年级英语专业学生文本中语块的频次,分析和探讨不同阶段学生语块的使用特征及发展规律。研究结果显示:相对于大一学生,大二、大三学生文本中语块的总体频次均大幅下降,其中大二学生“完整短语”语块的频次最低,而大三学生“句子构建”语块频次最低。结果表明:语块的使用频次与学生英语水平变化密切相关,大一到大二阶段是学生英语能力发展最为关键的时期,特别是在短语构建方面,而大三学生句子构建的意识更强。
By comparing the frequency of chunks in the texts of English majors from freshmen to juniors in different regions of China,this study analyzes and discusses the characteristics and development rules of chunks used by students in different stages.The results show that:compared with freshmen,the overall frequency of chunks in the texts of sophomores and juniors decreases significantly,among which the frequency of“complete phrase”chunk is the lowest,while the frequency of“sentence construction”chunk is the lowest.The results show that the frequency of chunk use is closely related to the change of students’English level.The most critical period for the development of students’English ability is from freshmen to sophomores,especially in the construction of phrases,while the awareness of sentence construction is stronger in junior students.
