党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央全面加强党对教育工作的领导,坚持立德树人,先后召开了全国高校思想政治工作会议、全国教育大会、学校思想政治理论课教师座谈会等重要会议,深刻回答了事关高等教育事业发展、高校思想政治工作、办好人民满意的教育等一系列重大问题。习近平总书记的系列重要讲话,论述了“立德树人”“铸魂育人”是思想政治教育的着力点和根本任务;强调了要始终把思想政治工作贯穿教育教学全过程,实现“全程育人、全方位育人”的教育理念;提出了思想政治理论课教师队伍“使命光荣,责任重大”的历史使命。这既为新时代高校思政课教师如何“育己”,明确了方向和准绳,同时又为办好新时代高校思想政治理论课,培养担当民族复兴大任之时代新人的“育人”,提供了重要遵循。

Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jin-ping as the core has comprehensively strengthened the party’s leadership in the education work.Adhering to morality,it has successively held national conferences on ideological and political work in colleges and universities,the national conferences on education,and teachers’ideological and political theory class conferences,and etc.It has insightfully solved a series of major issues related to the development of higher education and ideological and political work in colleges and universities,and ways of doing a satisfactory education for the people.General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of speeches discussed ways of casting souls and cultivating students,and the central content and fundamental tasks of ideological and political education.It emphasizes that ideological and political work must run through the entire process of education and teaching.The concept of educating people in all fields and educating people in all directions is proposed.The mission of the ideological and political theory teacher team is honorable and historical with great responsibility.This not only clarifies the direction and criterion for teachers of ideological and political lessons in colleges and universities in the new era,but also provides important guidelines for teaching ideological and political courses and cultivating new talents in the era of national rejuvenation.
