"Steel Wedding" focusees on the life style of the people living on the North China Plain in a specific period,and shows the hard life and persistent soul of the people.They are numerous and struggle to survive.Their personalities are complex and legendary."Steel Wedding" represents Li Peifu’s style of short story writing and the beginning of his novel writing.It was his observation and training before he thought deeply about life of the North China Plain.
