In the "Hills Like White Elephant",Hemingway reappeared the serious spiritual crisis that American youth encounter in the 20th century behind the prosperity of capitalism.This paper attempts to analyze the relationship between women and nature from the perspective of ecological feminism,man’s suppression of women and indifference to nature.It traces the root cause of the spiritual crisis of the protagonist,and criticizes the double oppression of patriarchal rule logic on women and nature,resulting in the destruction of natural ecology and the breakdown of relationships between people,which reveals the important role of women in the natural ecology and in building relationships between people and nature and between people.
