Emotional Subjectivity:A Main Trend of Literary Evolution—A Study of Hakuson Kuriyagawa's Literary Thinking

厨川白村的文艺思想主要体现在他的“情绪主观是文艺的始终”的主张上 ,他认为 ,不同时代出现的不同流派 ,都是文学的支流 ,尽管在当时风靡盛行 ,但是终不会替代“情绪主观”的主流文学。主流文学也许会在特定的时期 ,由于某种原因沉入河底 ,但那仅仅是暂时现象 ,终究还会容纳纷至而来的各种支流 ,又以崭新的姿态 。

Hakuson Kuriyagawa's 'emotional subjectivity runs through art and literature' is the embodiment of his literary thinking. According to his points of view, different literary schools in different ages belong to minor literary trends. Although they may become popular for a time, they cannot take the place of the main-stream literature - 'emotional subjectivity' which will take in all these minor literary trends in the end.
