This paper introduces the main function of pressure relief valve in large power transformer products,and summarizes and analyzes the common possible causes of pressure relief valve action.At the same time,the importance of correct selection of pressure relief valve is discussed,and according to the suggestions of pressure relief valve manufacturers and the design experience of transformer products,constructive suggestions are put forward on the number and technical parameters of pressure relief valve selected in transformer products.The content of this paper has certain reference signifi cance to the selection of pressure relief valve for large power transformer.
