By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of diesel engine and gasoline engine,this paper expounds the advantages of diesel engine such as power characteristics and fuel economy,and puts forward to give full play to the advantages of diesel engine.Secondly,through the development trend of diesel engine exhaust treatment,it focuses on the commercial vehicle exhaust treatment process.Finally,the problems of diesel exhaust treatment technology are summarized.
