高校英语教育与区域经济发展探究

Research on College English Education and Regional Economic Development

随着我国经济与别国来往频率的持续增高,在语言上也有了更高的要求,现如今英语作为一门公用的语言,掌握英语的程度会直接影响经济发展速度,良好的英语教育能够有效服务于区域经济发展,但如果高校英语教育质量较差,会限制区域经济发展的空间,基于此,本文首先分析了英语教育和区域经济之间的关系;其次,从三个方面叙述了高校英语在发展过程中注重区域经济的影响,简述了高校英语教学水平在区域经济发展过程中的作用;最后,描述了区域经济发展对高校英语教育提供的改进措施。

With the increasing frequency of China's economic exchanges with other countries and higher language requirements,the mastery of English,as a common language,will directly affect the speed of economic development.Good English education can Effectively serve regional economic development,but if the quality of English education in colleges and universities is not good,it will limit the space for regional economic development.Based on this,this paper first analyzes the relationship between English education and the regional economy,then elaborates the influence of regional economy on the development of college English from three aspects,briefly describes the role of college English teaching in regional economic development,and finally introduces the improvement measures provided by regional economic development for college English education.
