When wide and in-depth communication is made possible due to digital media and cost reduction aided by rapid development of internet,media integration,a profound change in the time,has made a huge difference to the ideological and political education in universities.This requires that university counselors should make clear of the opportunities and challenges brought forth by media integration for better ideological and political education.Thus,a study of the relationship between media integration and the ideological and political education by university counselors will help universities seize the opportunities and improve university counselors'efficiency in practice.
