In the second national census of pollution sources,huanggang city experienced a series of difficulties,such as the delay in the grass-roots survey,the large number of census objects,the large geographical area and wide spatial distribution,and the failure of software functions.And to overcome the difficulties,census groups reversed the construction period,sent extra staff,and completed the tasks of data collection,multi-stage audit,production and pollution accounting,summary and comparison,and achievement summary on time and with good quality.This paper briefly reviews the working experience of characteristic highlights formed in the second national pollution source census in huanggang city.
