摘要
"终身学习"属当今最时尚的概念之一,作为一种"全能概念",是对所有正式、非正式、非正规学习的总括描述。终身学习依托实践社区,联结社会资本呈现显性力量;彰显人力资本的投资利于社会稳定所产生的巨大作用;作为国家风险管理的工具,渐进式实现社会民主平等,而能力方法理论更是超越了人力资本理论,采用了更加丰富的人类发展视野,承认终身学习的工具性作用;将其视为减轻甚至消除社会不平等的因素,作为群体和个人的解放力量,作为个人的生活方式。反之亦有不少评论家将终身学习作为霸权新自由主义项目的一部分,作为一种社会控制形式,以重新确立教育的社会复制功能。
Lifelong learning is one of the most fashionable concepts nowadays. As a catch-all concept, it is a general description of formal, informal, and non-formal learning. Lifelong learning relies on the practice of community to link the social capital and show the dominant power;it demonstrates the enormous effect of human capital investment on social stability;as a tool of national risk management, it gradually realizes social democracy and equality. The theory of capability approach goes beyond the theory of human capital, adopts a richer vision of human development, and recognizes the instrumental role of lifelong learning. Many researchers take it as a factor to alleviate or even eliminate social inequality, or as a force of liberation for groups and individuals, especially as a way of life for individuals. On the contrary, many critics regard lifelong learning as a part of the hegemonic neoliberalism project, as a form of social control, in order to re-establish the social replication function of education.
