摘要
国家战略和社会发展对复语复合型人才的需求与日俱增,高等教育阶段的复语复合型人才培养需要"由内而外"地促进学生主动寻求发展的意愿,使其积极地规划愿景、投入学习。本文聚焦北京外国语大学北外学院"英法双语、国际组织与全球治理"本科实验班,重点阐述该实验班基础阶段(即本科一、二年级)的外语课程设计方案。该学院基础阶段的外语课程旨在培养学生语言学习的基本意识和基本方法,课程设计遵循"内容依托、产出导向"的原则,力求将学生培养成自主学习者。本文结合实例详述外语课程的具体目标、内容和教法,并反思经验与问题。
In this article we delineate the curriculum design for a bilingual programme(English plus French) at Beijing Foreign Studies University. This pilot programme aims to train bilingual/multilingual personnel who also specialise in a disciplinary field. Specifically, the B. A. programme provides courses in English and French as foreign languages during the first two years of a four-year span. In this article, we expound our views regarding how curriculum can be designed effectively to enable students to acquire competence in both languages despite shortened learning time. We first introduce major principles for the curriculum design and then elaborate on specific aims, learning content and teaching methods. We also reflect on our implementation of the curriculum during the past two years, and propose a revised design to optimise learner experience and to better coordinate students’ efforts to learn two languages at the same time.
