The political value orientation of college students is the focus of the development of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics,which reflects the overall trend and development direction of the change of the political values of college students.It shows a contradictory problem that is the strong unity and weak diversity of the political belief,the strong utility and weak ideality of the political cognition,and the strong rationality and weak sensibility of political emotion,the strong participation consciousness and weak participation practice of political behavior.In the implementation of college students' political value orientation we should cultivate socialist core values,guide the development direction of their political value orientation,improve the social atmosphere,optimize the development environment of their political value orientation,deepen the reform of ideological and political education in universities,consolidate the ideological basis of their political value orientation,innovate the forms of political and cultural activities in universities,and broaden the practical space of their political value orientation.
