Objective To investigate the risk factors and prevention strategies of urinary tract infection after surgical treatment in patients with ovarian cancer. Methods The 208 cases of ovarian cancer patients who had undergone surgical treatment were selected and divided into infection group(37 cases)and non-infection group(171 cases)according to whether postoperative urinary tract infection occurred.Calculate clinical data of two groups of patients, and perform univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results There were significant differences in the surgical methods(laparoscopy, laparotomy),operative time, amount of surgical bleeding, catheter indwelling time, length of stay, and number of intubation catheters between infected and non-infected groups(P<0.05 or 0.01).Logistic regression analysis showed that increased intraoperative blood loss, prolongedcatheter indwelling time, catheter intubation frequency, and laparotomy were independent risk factors for postoperative urinary tract infection in patients with ovarian cancer(P<0.05).Conclusions Increased intraoperative blood loss, increased catheter indwelling time, increased number of catheter intubation, and open surgery methods are independent risk factors for urinary tract infections in patients with ovarian cancer.Clinically, targeted interventions should be performed according to the patient's risk factors.
