Research on Artificial Intelligence International Standardization

第三次AI技术的发展浪潮,开启了AI规模化应用的新纪元。ISO/IEC JTC1/SC42因应以机器学习为代表的AI技术发展浪潮,制定若干AI领域重点技术标准。从标准主旨、含义、引导方向等方面,分析SC42涉及的主干AI国际标准,研判其后续走势及意义,并总结AI国际标准对我国AI标准发展的启示。

The 3rd critical stage of artificial intelligence(AI)technique development,bring AI into a new era of real life application.Particularly,international standardization organization ISO/IEC JTC1 SC42,in line with the booming up of AI,works on the standardization for the essential technical areas of AI.This paper presents an analysis of some important international AI standards under SC42,in terms of their main content,concerns and directions.Moreover,we show our research result on the trend and core concerns for future international standards,together with our conclusion on the inspirations we obtained during working upon SC42 AI standards,which can be incorporated for China’s domestic AI standardization cause.
