状报起源于唐代,是伴随着进奏院的产生而出现。进奏官把获取到的关于朝廷信息和其他地方藩镇的动态,编辑成状报传递给各自所在的藩镇,让节度使可以及时得到消息,并且作出对自己有利的判断。状报成为唐代中央和地方联系交流的媒介,对信息沟通起一定的作用。

Zhuang Bao originated in the Tang Dynasty and appeared with Jin Zou Yuan.The officers in Jin Zou Yuan collected information about the imperial court and other military towns and edited it into Zhuang Bao to pass to their own military town so that the military governor could get timely news and make judgments in favor of him.Zhuang Bao became the medium of communication between the central and local governments in the Tang Dynasty and played a certain role in information communication.
