Zhang Huai-liang′s Experience of Treating Emotional Disease Based on Syndrome Differentiation

张怀亮教授认为情志病因情志而生,因情志而加重或转化,外因固然重要,不可忽视内因,因为很多时候人情绪的异常反应是脏腑气血盛衰或失调的外在表现,故在诊治过程中不可忽视脏腑气血盛衰的内因,内因可作为起病因素也可作为疾病加重或减轻原因。张教授认为,情志病核心病机是"气机逆乱",情志致病首先引起机体气机紊乱,进而导致脏腑功能失调而发病,临证治疗情志病必始于气,而终于气,调理气机为第一要务。张教授创新三焦辨证体系,从君、相火论治疗情志病中的不寐。张教授认为,情志病治疗应内调外养,提出"风药治郁"理念。

Professor Zhang Huai-liang thinks that emotional disease is caused by disorder of emotions which also leads to the aggravation or transformation.Though the external cause is important,the internal cause cannot be ignored.Because the abnormal reaction of people′s emotions is the external manifestation of the excess and deficiency or maladjustment of viscera,qi and blood,the internal cause cannot be ignored in the process of diagnosis and treatment,and the internal cause can also be the cause of disease aggravation or alleviation.According to Professor Zhang,t he core pathogenesis of emotional disease is "counterflow of qi movement",which first occurs and then leads to disorder of viscera function.Therefore,clinical treatment of emotional disease must begin with qi,and end up with qi,with regulating qi movement as the first priority.Professor Zhang has innovated the syndrome differentiation system of triple energizer in order to treat insomnia from the perspectives of sovereign fire and ministerial fire.Professor Zhang believes that the treatment of emotional disease should be adjusted internally and maintained externally,and has put forward the concept of "wind-extinguishing medicinal alleviating depression".
