成渝古道走马区域手工业遗址调查试掘简报

A Survey and Partial Excavation of a Crafts Production Site in Zouma Region along the Ancient Chengdu-Chongqing Highway

为推动九龙坡区走马古镇的保护与利用,重庆市文化遗产研究院等单位于2016年3至4月对成渝古道走马区域进行了一次历史文化资源专题调查,新发现和复查手工业遗址11处,并对部分典型遗址开展了试掘,初步获得对这批手工业遗址的性质、文化内涵、遗迹形态、年代等方面的认识。这不仅为走马古镇增加了新的文化内涵,也为重庆手工业考古与研究提供了新资料。

In order to facilitate the protection and utilisation of the ancient Zouma town in Jiulong District, a survey, led by the Chongqing Municipal Institute of Cultural Heritage, was carried out particularly to focus on the historical cultural resources in Zouma region along the ancient Chengdu-Chongqing highway. It shed the light on 11 sites devoted to the production of various crafts and a partial excavation was undertaken in some of the typical spots. The preliminary knowledge about the function of these sites, cultural connotations, related patterns, and specific time period has been acquired. This survey and excavation not only added some new cultural elements to the ancient Zouma town, but also provided new information for the study of ancient crafts’ production in Chongqing.
