“Heart”in Chunqiu Fanlu

“心”在《春秋繁露》中是一个使用极其频繁的观念,共出现133次。对于董仲舒思想系统的建构,心具有非常独特的意义。董氏对“心”的论述大致可分为:作为道德价值、道德判断基础的心,作为喜怒哀乐等情感表现的心,作为认知判断基础的心,作为身体主宰的心以及作为身体器官的血肉之心。董仲舒思想对于“心”的讨论十分丰富,具有非常重要的思想史价值。尤其是董仲舒对于心的道德属性的阐释,非常直接地表明了董仲舒对于儒家精神价值的继承,也直接影响到了后来在思想史的传统中以道德来言心的儒家基本理路。

“Heart”is a frequently used concept in Chunqiu Fanlu;it appears 133 times altogether.It has very unique significance for the the construction of Dong Zhongshu’s ideological system.His discussion on“heart”can be roughly divided into five aspects:the heart as the basis of moral value and moral judgment,the heart as the emotional expression of happiness,anger,sorrow and joy,the heart as the basis of cognitive judgment,the heart as the domination of body and the heart as the flesh and blood of the body.His thought of the discussion of“heart”is very rich and has very important value in the history of ideology,especially his interpretation of the moral attribute of the heart directly shows his inheritance of Confucian spiritual value,and also affects the basic Confucian theory of heart in terms of morality in the later tradition of ideological history.
