A Study of the Painter’s Time of the Silk Painting of Immortal LV Dongbin in Tang Dynasty

立足于认同清代毕泷在传世吕祖画像上题识此画出自金源王重阳的真实性,并追索到金源李俊民《大方集》序透露王重阳作吕祖画像的同源一致性,兼以该绢本画像材质、画风具备金源时代特征,追随、遵从前辈鉴藏家的鉴定意见而等量齐观,从而得出鉴定结论:该画疑似金源全真教创始者王重阳满怀崇敬心情精心绘制的祖师爷吕祖圣像。

Bi Long in Qing Dynasty wrote the inscription on the painting of immortal Lv Dongbin in Tang Dynasty,which indicates that the painting was made by Wang Chongyangin Jin Dynasty.Based on the identification to its authenticity,tracing back to the preface of Li Junmin’s Dafang Collection in Jin Dynasty,which reveals the homology that it is Wang Chongyang who produced the painting,combining with the observation of the material and style of the silk painting which have the characteristics of the times of Jin Dynastyand following the appraisal opinions of the predecessor collectors,the author draws the conclusion that Wang Chongyang,the founder of Quanzhen Taoism in Jin Dynasty,is suspected to be the painter of the silk painting of immortal Lv Dongbin,who drew it with great respect.
