摘要
为了探索飞行时间技术在中短距离长度测量方面的应用,提出一种测量光纤折射率和长度的方案。基于飞行时间技术原理的TDC7201芯片,配合微控制器、激光发射机和激光接收机等器件和模块,构成一套测量系统,理论上可对长度范围为2 cm^100 km的光纤进行测量。以该方案搭建了一个实验平台,对约1 cm、2 cm、3 cm、以及1.5 m、5.1 m、20 km、70 km和90 km等多种长度的光纤进行了折射率或长度测量。结果表明:该方案最短测量距离为1 cm,最长测量距离超过90 km,在测量长度约5.1 m的光纤时,系统的标准差可达0.9 mm。
To explore the applications of time of flying technology for short to medium distance measurement,a scheme for optical fiber refractive index and length measurement is introduced,which is based on the TDC7201 chip that apply time of flying technology principle.The measurement system is made up of some devices and modules,such as TDC7201,microcontroller,laser transmitter and laser receiver,and the fiber length measurement range is 2 cm to 100 km in theory.The experiment platform is established,and then the refractive index or length of 1 cm,2 cm,3 cm and 1.5m,5.1m,20 km,70 km,90 km fiber are measured.The result shows that the minimum measurement length is 1 cm,the maximum measurement length over 90 km,and the standard deviation of 5.1 m fiber length measurement is 0.9 mm.
