FDI,Technological Innovation and Regional Economic Growth——An empirical study based on a provincial panel data

在分析FDI、技术创新与区域经济增长间内在联系的基础上,利用中国2003-2017年的省级面板数据实证分析FDI、FDI与技术创新的关联效应对区域经济增长的影响,随后分东部、中部、西部三地区深入探究FDI影响区域经济增长的区域差异化效应。结果表明,FDI与区域经济增长间存在“U”型关系,FDI与技术创新的关联效应对区域经济增长有促进作用,且技术创新在决定两者关系中“拐点”的位置上起到关键作用。固定资产投入、产业结构优化及政府参与度对区域经济增长的影响存在差异性。

Analyzing the internal relationship between FDI,technological innovation and regional economic growth,this paper studies empirically the correlation effect on the regional economic growth by using the provincial panel data of China from 2003 to 2017,and then explores the regional differentiation effect of FDI on the regional economic growth in three regions of China,the East,the Middle and the West.The results show that there is an inverted"U"relationship between FDI and regional economic growth,the correlation effect between FDI and technological innovation promotes the regional economic growth,and technological innovation plays a key role in the turning point which determins the relationship between the two.There are also differences in the effects of fixed assets investment,industrial structure optimization and government participation on regional economic growth.
