Measurement and Comparison of High-Quality Development of World Economy

在全球化程度加深的背景下,构建世界经济高质量发展指标体系刻不容缓。本文采用世界银行WDI数据库2001-2017年99个国家的数据,在"五大发展理念"-创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享的基础上,加入稳定发展指标,构建世界经济高质量发展指标评价体系。研究发现:全球经济高质量发展不平衡:发达国家的经济高质量发展情况明显优于发展中国家,欧洲国家明显优于非洲国家;某些国家经济高质量发展综合水平与各分系统水平表现不一致:中国在经济高质量发展综合水平上表现相对最优,但协调发展水平和绿色发展水平表现相对较差;创新发展和经济高质量发展综合水平的变化趋势表现为一致性,说明创新发展是经济高质量发展的根本动力。为打造高质量世界经济,全球需要针对性地制定经济高质量发展指标评价体系,充分利用好"一带一路"等政策促进全球经济协同提升。

In the context of deepening globalization,it is urgent to build a high-quality development indicator system for the world economy.This article uses data from 99 countries in the World Bank WDI database from 2001 to 2017,and incorporates stable development indicators to build an evaluation system of high-quality development indicators for the world economy,based on the"five development concepts"--innovation,coordination,green,openness and sharing.The results show that the high-quality development of the global economy is unbalanced:the high-quality economic development of developed countries is significantly better than that of developing countries,and the European countries are significantly better than African countries;the comprehensive level of high-quality economic development in some countries is inconsistent with the performance of various subsystems:China’s performance on the comprehensive level of high-quality economic development is relatively optimal,but the level of coordinated development and green development is relatively poor;the trend of the change in the level of comprehensive development of innovation and high-quality economic development is consistent,indicating that innovation is the fundamental driving force for high-quality development.In order to build a high-quality world economy,the world needs to formulate a targeted evaluation system for high-quality economic development,make full use of the"Belt and Road"and other policies to promote the coordinated improvement of the global economy.
