In the era of information and globalization,college English education is an important channel for the country to cultivate professionals with global vision and English communication ability.However,due to the backward concept and teaching mode of English education,as well as the unscientific assessment system,the problem of low effectiveness of college English education has existed for a long time.The introduction of rain classroom,an information-based teaching tool based on smart phone platform,into the practice of college English education is a beneficial exploration to break through the traditional limitations of college English education and improve its teaching effectiveness.
