Using the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 to Strengthen High School Ideological and Political Education

面对当前新冠肺炎疫情防控的形势,高中思想政治教育理当有自己的应对和思考。新冠肺炎疫情阻击战中所体现出来的制度优势、爱国热情、传统美德、民族精神、价值追求,为学校思想政治教育提供了丰富的素材,应不失时机地加强对学生的生命教育、信念教育、科学教育和道德教育,在抗击疫情的战役中构建正确的世界观、人生观、价值观,培养学生临危不惧、从容不迫、坚韧不拔、爱国爱民的奋斗精神和家国情怀,以坚定的理想信念引导学生与祖国一起成长,成为担当民族复兴大任的时代新人。

In the face of the current situation of COVID-19,high school ideological and political education should have its own response and thinking.During the outbreak of COVID-19,the advantage of our social system,the patriotic enthusiasm,traditional virtue,national spirit and the pursuit of value have provided rich materials for the ideological and political education for schools.It is time to strengthen the education of life,faith,science and morality,to help student construct correct outlooks on world,life and value,to cultivate students′fearless fighting spirit,confidence,perseverance and patriotism,to guide students to grow up together with the motherland with firm ideals and beliefs,and become the successors in the new era who are in charge of national rejuvenation.
