共享与凝聚:数字“中国聚落”在海外留学者中的跨国构建

Sharing and Cohesion:Overseas Students’Transnational Construction of Digital“Chinese Assemblages”

多元化的网络社交平台已成为海外留学者跨国活动的新场域。依托中国社交平台,置身于海外的中国留学者建构了不同层次的跨国虚拟社区。国家成为跨国虚拟社区得以建构的根基与纽带,跨国虚拟社区因此可称为数字“中国聚落”。依据社交平台特性,数字“中国聚落”规模大小不一,可分为微观、中观和宏观三类。作为一种新型的移民网络构建工具,数字“中国聚落”使置身于跨国场域中的留学者的聚集从线上延伸至线下,在异国建立起新的中国社区,并具有信息资源共享、互助和市场交易的特征。通过吸纳留学者的广泛参与,数字“中国聚落”既增进了留学群体对祖国的向心力,也约束着其在公共空间的言论行为。

Diversified internet social media have become transnational space which overseas students have been deeply engaged in.Based on the social media apps of China,Chinese overseas students have constructed,maintained and developed different transnational virtual communities.Nation is the foundation and connection of the online communities,which can be called as digital“Chinese assemblages”.According to the traits of different social media,the assemblages can be divided into micro,meso and macro ones.As a new instrument of constructing migrants’net,the digital“Chinese assemblages”have extended the online connections of overseas students into the real world and helped building new ethnic communities.The digital“Chinese assemblages”also contain the functions of sharing information,mutual assistance and market trading.By absorbing the extensive participation of overseas students,the digital“Chinese assemblages”have not only enhanced the centripetal force of the overseas students to the motherland,but also constrained their behaviors in public space.
