大学出版社的开放获取之路

An Approach to Open Access for University Press

主要提出关于“复合式开放获取”(Hybrid Open Access)制度在传统大学出版社的可能性与机会,以及探讨大学出版社在缺乏透明且详述的OA规划程序下,如何因应时代发展。大学出版社本质既然是“非营利”为本,“复合式OA”策略对大学出版社来说则是一项挑战。“复合式OA”的概念已经不只是适用于学术期刊,更可适用于学术专书出版。大学出版社很难有不践履OA的理由,但是对于大学出版社的经营体制与生存而言,福祸难料。

The article raises questions about the possibility and opportunity of Hybrid Open Access mechanism in traditional university presses,and about the lack of transparency that has characterized the planning process of university press.University press with a nature of non-profit must meet the challenge of Hybrid OA demand whatever in journal or book publishing.It seems to be a must for university press to convert to OA management,but future success and failure remain unpredictable.
